The Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild, quilters of all skill levels from beginner to advanced meet every first, third, and fourth Wednesday of each month, at the Floyd County Cooperative Extension Service. The first Wednesday of each month is their regular business meeting along with personal projects. The third Wednesday of each month also consists of personal projects. Currently, the fourth Wednesday will consist of a group project called "Women of the Bible Quilt".

The Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild not only quilt! They have conducted a can
drive for local food pantry's as well as other community supported programs.

The second Wednesday of each month, a smaller group derived from the Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild created a wool applique club called the "Woolies." They soley work with wool in either small applique projects or full quilt projects. They also invite everyone to come and join in the fun!
