Kentucky 4-H Summit 2023
Middle School 4-H delegates from across the state recently attended the 13th annual Kentucky 4-H Teen Summit at the Lake Cumberland 4-H Educational Center in Jabez, Kentucky. The conference is held annually for youth in grades 6-8 who want to learn more about what Kentucky 4-H can offer and make connections with others from the across the state.
Jack Friar Memorial Scholarship Fund
In honor of Jack Friar the Floyd County 4-H Council has set up the Jack Friar Memorial Scholarship Fund. This fund will go towards helping the youth of Floyd County who can not afford to attend 4-H Camp each summer.

4-H is selling door hangers to raise money for 4-H Camp. Please contact Heather Coleman or Sonjia Meade at the Floyd County Extension Office to place an order.
4-H Issues Conference Gives Youth a Voice
4-H strives to give youth the skills they need to be adults who are actively engaged in their communities. Since 1989, Kentucky 4-H has given its senior members an opportunity to attend the four-day statewide Issues Conference to learn how to identify and address local issues while developing their leadership and citizenship skills.
